The tour turns to my neck of the woods this coming weekend: one that promises to be busy in Northern California with the famous Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival invading San Francisco, while just north, at the Silverado Resort and Spa, Napa, the heart of the wine country, the tour assembles. In fact, the whole affair looks pretty fun this year with a handful of bands, including Weezer, performing at the after parties.

At 7166 yards, Silverado presents some long challenges nestled in amongst the vineyards, and when looking at the somewhat abbreviated field (88), Greens in Regulation, which was the dominant stat last year, was where I was going.

These are the names I like. Don't forget, you can join a foursome playing the DraftKings Weekly Hybrid PGA.

Tony Finau ($11,500): Not just that Finau is the fave, but he has eight top tens and ranks #17 in GIR, averaging 73.4 points per week.

Jamie Lovemark ($8700): Lovemark has three top tens this season and is averaging a solid 61.7 points a week with 18 cuts made over 22 tries. His GIR is a bit dicey with a #82 ranking, but in this smaller field he seems poised to shine.

Bryson DeChambeau ($7700): Kind of a homer pick, but I am thinking a local knowledge homer pick and that is trumping a lot of stuff, like 12 of 26 cuts made and #105 in GIR. Still, playing near home is a biggie and DeChambeau does have two top ten finishes this season.

Martin Flores ($7600): Conversely, Flores has just two top tens this year, has made 13 of 21 cuts but ranks #1 in GIR. (Kind of like the agony and the ecstasy between these two, no?)

Richy Werenski ($7300): Not unlike his buddies in "less than $8000-land", Werenski has three top tens along with 12 of 20 cuts made, but he ranks a surprisingly strong #36 in GIR.

Aaron Wise ($7100): Gambling on a bit of an unknown, Wise has played in just two tourneys this season, making the cut both times, and averaging 65.8 points. All I am asking is for a third.
