Sunday 17th Dec 2017

Coming off a pretty good week of picks featuring Davis Love III and Martin Flores scoring big, I wish I felt more confident as the Tour goes to to Long Island and the Glen Oaks Country Club in Old Westbury, New York.

Glen Oaks presents an interesting 27-hole configuration that allows mixing up rounds and nine-holes on red and white and blue courses that max out at 7346 yards, meaning once again the long hitters get first look in DFS picks this week.

So, let's see the picks I like this week and why, and don't forget, you can join a foursome playing the DraftKings Weekly Hybrid PGA.

Jason Day ($9700): Day is coming off a strong finish at the PGA, has made 11 cuts in 14 tries, is averaging 68.2 points per tourney and seems poised for a big week.

Paul Casey ($9000): Casey is another who has been so steady, making 15 of 16 cuts, and generally plays his strongest game as the season pushes to an end. He is averaging 70.6 points per week.

Daniel Berger ($8500): Distance is big at Glen Oaks, but so are the eternally frustrating greens. But Berger is arguably the best putter on the tour, making 13 cuts in 18 tries.

Francesco Molinari ($7700): His second-place finish at the PGA has fueled the heat behind Molinari's game where he has made it all four days 14 of 17 times, scoring 111 points over his last two tries.

Steve Stricker ($7500): Stricker has been ridiculously consistent, making 10 of 11 cuts this season, averaging 62.2 points with a pair of top-10 finishes and three top-20 finishes this year.

Richy Werenski ($7100): Following a slow start to 2017, Werenski is five-for-five his last five chances, finishing under par while improving his putting to the tune of 1.66 putts while moving up 52 slots in the FedEx standings.

Do remember to keep fantasy open and regulated and fair for all by writing your local lawmakers and tell them of your love of playing and desire to keep on playing. Visit the FSTA site for more information (and thanks).
