Fourteen of the entries to the FedEx St. Jude Classic will be lining up for the U.S. Open next week, but till then the focus will be Memphis.
A lower-key list of entrants doesn't seem to make this any easier, as those of us who favored Jon Rahm last weekend can attest, but defending champ Daniel Berger will bring his short game back to TPC Southwind.
Let's see who I am looking at this week.
And, do tune into the Tout Wars Hour this coming Thursday on the FNTSY Sports Radio Network. This week's strategy guest will be Pat Mayo, who will talk some Fantasy golf tactics as well as help us with some thoughts on the pending Open.
Remember that you can match up against me at the DraftKings Weekly Hybrid PGA.
Adam Scott ($11,000): Scott is pretty consistent, and with a field of stars and scrubs, it is tough to know where to spread one's bucks. So, I went high with Adam and his 70.2 point average.
Phil Mickelson ($10,200): A week ago, Phil cost $3500 less, and, at this price, he will be no less effective. If there is a safe bet, Phil is it.
Peter Uihlein ($7200): Uihlein has been beyond steady with 13 cuts made over 14 tries, and is coming off a strong finish at the Memorial last week.
Danny Lee ($7200): Lee can be up and down, but he is due, having made 10 cuts over 17 tries, but returning fresh after breaking following Dean and Deluca.
Hudson Swafford ($7100): Swafford is definitely hit and miss, making the cut half-a-dozen times, but finishing in the top three half the times he does play the weekend.
Roberto Castro ($7100): Castro has struggled this season, making the cut just four of 13 attempts, but again, the field is thinner and he has played well as a lower end choice for me.
Do remember to keep fantasy open and regulated and fair for all by writing your local lawmakers and tell them of your love of playing and desire to keep on playing. Visit the FSTA site for more information (and thanks).
Feel free to comment with your thoughts, and remember you can also hit me up @lawrmichaels.
