Here we are at the DFS challenge with our pals at RealTime Sports, where you can match up against my Mastersball mates and me, and prove to your friends that you are surely a better player than I!
Tune in here daily, as Patrick and I pick up the Mastersball gauntlet where you can play our daily 50/50 game ($5) or come right after me on Fridays in the free Beat the Experts contest. Beat me and you win $2, and believe me, this past week that was not hard to do!
With respect to the weather, there are five games, meaning ten teams, that are under potential soggy circumstances in Cincinnati, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, New York, and Atlanta.
Dustin Pedroia ($4900): Dped is so steady, and he has been making his typical laser-like contact, especially over the past week, hitting .381-1-3 with nine hits and a pair of runs while raising his OBP to .353. Oh yeah: Dped has Phil Hughes' number with five career bombs, among other things.
Kenta Maeda ($7900): Maeda is coming off a solid start (eight whiffs, seven innings, two runs) and gets to travel 100 miles south to face the interesting but young and largely inexperienced Padres. He is averaging a strikeout an inning so I like the matchup.
Don't forget, you can hit me up @lawrmichaels and also feel free to comment, flatter, cajole, ridicule, bewitch, bother, and bewilder in the comments section below.
