Here we are at the DFS challenge with our pals at RealTime Sports, where you can match up against me and my Mastersball mates and prove to your friends that you are surely a better player than I!
The Sunday slate looks to be precipitation free, although the midwest could be a bit blustery, particularly in St. Louis, Chicago, and Denver.
Well, yesterday I was reminded that picking the best guy does not mean success, for even though my team did finish in the money, Clayton Kershaw was no more a sure bet than was Rory Mcllroy for my golf squad for the Masters (and Rory has been redhot).
Julio Teheran ($8000): Hard to not like Teheran, coming off a fine first start against the Mets, but his young mates might surprise us all, and certainly the Bucs have some weapons, but Julio can handle them. I mean, Atlanta has some pretty good athletes named Julio, right?
Adam Eaton ($4700): I am not one who thinks Jeremy Hellickson is any more comvincing a starter than is JA Happ, so I am fine with lefty Adam Eaton teeing off against Hellickson. At least that is what I think he should do.
Don't forget, you can hit me up @lawrmichaels and also feel free to comment, flatter, cajole, ridicule, bewitch, bother, and bewilder in the comments section below.
