After a confusing week where the tour split between Austin and Puerto Rico--one that left me free to focus on Tout Wars--we can all loosen up with the tour as we finish up prior to next week's visit to Augusta National.
But, to the GC of Houston, in Humble, Texas, for the Shell Open the gang moves this week. Let's see who I like this time, and don't forget you can duke it out against me and cut your chops playing $3 DraftKings Weekly Hybrid PGA.
Rickie Fowler ($10,000): Last time I picked Rickie, he had a first round that was eight over and my weekend went along with his. But, the Rickster seems to play Shell well, and he is averaging 82.5 points a week.
Phil Mickelson ($8900): So hard not to like Phil, who is six-for-six, and does pretty much everything well.
Daniel Berger ($8800): With four cuts in seven tries, Berger is at best erratic, but his putting is strong, and he plays Houston well.
Rafael Cabrera-Bello ($7900): Hard to argue with eight-for-eight in cuts and an 80.3 point average thus far in 2017.
Patrick Reed ($7700): He's nine-for-nine making cuts this season, which seems to be the kiss of death for my teams, but I am going there anyway with a lower priced steady play.
Michael Kim ($6400): Following a solid finish at the Palmer, Kim has made six cuts thus far, plays the Houston pretty well and is a solid cheaper play going into a big week of play.
Do remember to keep fantasy open and regulated and fair for all by writing your local lawmakers and tell them of your love of playing and desire to keep on playing. Visit the FSTA site for more information (and thanks).
