After a disappointing 0-0 tie between Manchester United and Hull City, I have given up on Red Devils and the English bookmakers for the rest of the year. That’s fine with me because the salary of the most desirable Manchester United players is high and it has not been easy to fit them under the salary cap.

Next Saturday, during Gameweek 25, Red Devils are hosting Watford. Temptation is high to field Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba.

DraftKings will feature this game for their daily contests. Additional matches to be featured next Saturday, February 11 are:

West Ham - West Brom
Liverpool – Tottenham
Stoke City – Crystal Palace
Middlesbrough – Everton
Sunderland - Southampton

Our recommendations for your fantasy lineups are below. The standard lineup of each DraftKings contest has one goalkeeper, two defenders, two midfielders, two forwards and one utility player.

In searching for a winning fantasy lineup, we are sensitive to the requirements of the dreaded salary cap. Our recommendations include players who have a favorable scheduled match and whose salary will allow you to field a well-balanced team. In addition, our recommendations for your lineup are based in part on the odds set by English bookmakers for each game.

Our recommendations for your GW25 fantasy lineup are:

Goalkeepers (choose one): Ben Foster (West Brom), Joel Robles (Everton)

Defenders (choose two): Leighton Baines (Everton), Winston Reid (West Ham), Chris Brunt (West Brom), Allan Nyom (West Brom), Jose Holebas (Watford)

Midfielders (choose two): Christian Eriksen (Tottenham), Ross Barkley (Everton), Adam Lallana (Liverpool), Henrikh Mkhitaryan (Manchester United, currently in good form)

Forwards (choose two): Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Manchester United, unable to resist the temptation, but see Holebas as a counterbalance), Romelu Lukaku (Everton, pretty much a must after scoring four in Gameweek 24), Peter Crouch (Stoke City), Troy Deeney (Watford)

Utility (choose one): Wilfried Zaha (Crystal Palace), Jermain Defoe (Sunderland)

Note that several midfielders and forwards qualify at both positions, in addition to utility, on DraftKings. Unfortunately, that may not help your salary cap, as all of these players are quite expensive. Our strategy is to insert into the mix low-salaried defenders.
