Note that English Premier League (EPL) Gameweek 16 will take place this week. There are two games today and eight tomorrow. Our recommendations for your fantasy lineups are below.

DraftKings features all eight of tomorrow's games for their daily contests. The contests lock Wednesday at 2:45 PM Eastern Time. The matches are:

Middlesbrough – Liverpool
Sunderland – Chelsea
West Ham – Burnley
Crystal Palace – Manchester United
Manchester City – Watford
Stoke City – Southampton
Tottenham – Hull City
West Brom - Swansea City

The standard lineup of each DraftKings contest has one goalkeeper, two defenders, two midfielders, two forwards and one utility player.

In doing the search for a winning fantasy lineup, we are sensitive to the requirements of the dreaded salary cap. Our recommendations include players who have a favorable matchup and whose salary will allow you to field a well-balanced team.

Our recommendations for your GW16 fantasy lineup are:

Goalkeepers (choose one): Tom Heaton (Burnley), Hugo Lloris (Tottenham)

Defenders (choose two): Toby Alderweireld (Tottenham), Phil Jones (Manchester United), Jose Holebas (Watford), Marcos Alonso (Chelsea)

Midfielders (choose two): Eden Hazard (Chelsea, caution: expensive), I would balance the team budget with Salomon Rondon (West Brom), Gylfi Sigurdsson (Swansea City), Sadio Mane’ (Liverpool) Dimitri Payet (West Ham)

Forwards (choose two): Harry Kane (Tottenham), Divock Origi (Liverpool), Andy Carroll (West Ham), Christian Benteke (Crystal Palace)

Utility (choose one): Diego Costa (Chelsea), Kelechi Iheanacho (Manchester City), Matt Phillips (West Brom)

Note that several midfielders and forwards are qualified by DraftKings as both and can be placed in either position or at utility. Unfortunately, that may not help your salary cap, as all of these players are quite expensive. Our strategy is to mix in low-salaried defenders.
