The NHL is giving us nine games to choose from on Tuesday, and there are some players who have been lava hot on the menu. I’m giving you just a few to think over, but once I state my case, you’ll be convinced to add these moneymakers to your lineups.
Leon Draisaitl ($5800, Edmonton): With seven goals and 12 points over Edmonton’s last 10 games, Leon has been a beast ever since the World Cup of Hockey this past September. Playing on the Oilers' top line with Connor McDavid and the top power play unit, which is 10th in the league at 19.05%, he should thrive on Tuesday night. The Sabres rank 29th in Penalty Kill at 77.22%. Look for the Oilers to take full advantage.
Mike Cammalleri ($5300, New Jersey): The former Michigan Wolverine has five goals and seven points over the Devils' last five games, and has surged since the return of All-Star forward Taylor Hall. Hosting the Vancouver Canucks is another way to keep the points rolling; the Canucks are 3-7-1 on the road this season while New Jersey is 7-0-2 at home. Cammalleri is playing on the Devils' second line and second power play. Look for multiple chances for him to get on the score sheet.
Bryan Little ($5100, Winnipeg): Over three games back with the Jets, Little has three goals along with five points, and the Jets are 2-1 in the process. Winnipeg hosts the Detroit Red Wings, who are just 4-4-2 on the road thus far and have brought up a few players from the Grand Rapids Griffins to help their injury riddled squad. Meanwhile, the Jets are fresh off a 2-1 win over the Blackhawks. This game reeks of a shootout, and stacking Winnipeg Jets may be the best way to go. Patrik Laine has scored 13 of his 16 goals at home and is being centered by Little on the Jets top line, along with Nikolaj Ehlers, and they comprise the top power play unit in Winnipeg.
