After another rugged week of getting knocked out of bounds at the John Deere--as the tour sort of reassembles following the Olympics--we return to the Wyndham Championship, being held at the Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Remember you can play against me and cut your chops playing $3 DraftKings Weekly Hybrid PGA. As for my picks, this week I looked hard at trying to both split the difference, picking golfers in the middle price range, but also trying to grab players who had been successful at Sedgefield in the past.
Webb Simpson ($10,200): Simpson has finished under par 19 of his past 24 rounds at Sedgefield, averaging around a 67. Good enough for moi.
Brandt Snedeker ($9,800): Snedeker has made 14 of 22 cuts on the Tour this year, and made the cut at Sedgefield six of eight times, averaging a 68.
Rafael Cabrera-Bello ($8900): Cabrera-Bello has made 16 of 17 cuts this season, and averages 73.1 points per contest.
Billy Horschel ($7600): Horschel has 13 of 15 cuts made, and averages 60.8 points per contest.
Patton Kizzire ($6800): Probably the biggest gamble, Kizzire, who missed the Travelers, has made the cut 18 of 23 tourneys and does average 58.8 points. I just need all these guys to hit their means.
Freddie Jacobson ($6700): Jacobson has played Sedgefield thrice, and made the cut each time, averaging a 66.5 round. That is as good as a lower end pick can get.
Do remember to keep fantasy open and regulated and fair for all by writing your local lawmakers and tell them of your love of playing and desire to keep on playing. Visit the FSTA site for more information (and thanks).
