Having watched the Padres lose four straight in St. Louis last week, continuing their struggles against right-handed pitching, and coupled with a visit to Toronto now on tap, I am all in on Jays’ youngster Aaron Sanchez ($7000) Monday night. The right-hander deserves a shot in his own right, having allowed more than two runs just once in his last nine starts since June 1.
Reds first sacker Joey Votto ($6400) remains on fire, with a nine-game hitting streak, during which he has three home runs and eight RBI. He faces Jake Peavy Monday night, against whom he is 3-for-10, including two doubles.
