Howard Bender (@rotobuzzguy) and his fabled #MockDraftArmy are back for the football season, meaning this week is full of mocking activity. In fact, Tuesday afternoon, the Army held their second draft--12 teams, PPR--at Fantrax (click for full draft results) and things went swimmingly.

12 teams makes for both a fatter roster, and in theory a tighter league. In this mock, Dez Bryant went a surprising 2.4, with Antonio Brown going at the top of the bill while Ted Ginn, Jr., Alfred Morris and Ronnie Hillman were not taken at all.

I picked in the 12-hole, so here are my picks, in order, with thoughts. I did go WR and supporting RB heavy in this draft.

1.12 Jordy Nelson (WR, Packers): Hoping a year off made him stronger and hungrier. He was a first rounder at this time last year, so why not now?

2.1 Brandin Cooks (WR, Saints): Brees go-to guy should be among the league's best.

3.12 Latavius Murray (RB, Raiders): I do love the Raiders this year, and expect Murray to step up with the rest of his teammates.

4.1 Theo Riddick (RB, Lions): Rushed for 133 yards last year, but caught 80 passes, and this is PPR.

5.12 Markus Wheaton (WR, Steelers): As a sort of cuff to Antonio Brown, Wheaton should get plenty of targets.

6.1 Tyler Lockett (WR, Seahawks): Explosive receiver going into his second season should really step into the star role.

7.12 Karlos Williams (RB, Bills): Solid #3 running back on a team with an up-and-coming offense.

8.1 Zach Ertz (TE, Eagles): Amazing to get Ertz this late, but take him I will. Perhaps the shallowness of a 12-team league is revealed with this pick.

9.12 Derek Carr (QB, Raiders): Happy to get Carr here. In 14-team formats, he would be gone by round 7.

10.1 Tavon Austin (WR, Rams): Solid receiver with a profile much like Lockett, but four rounds later.

11.12 Tyrod Taylor (QB, Bills): Killer back-up signal caller.

12.1 Bilal Powell (RB, Jets): 70 carries and 43 receptions last year should increase with Powell being a perfect bye-week flex guy who fits my roster well.

13.12 Martellus Bennett (TE, Patriots): #2 Tight End is also the #2 guy in New England, and that should suit him and my team well.

14.1 Brandon McManus (PK, Broncos): Need a kicker, and McManus is a good one.

15.12 Raiders (DEF): Another team on the rise, I am grabbing the Raiders and Khalil Mack wherever I can. Beyond that, I will stream defense and kickers week-to-week as necessary.
