Last week we did pretty well at the Memorial Tourney, correcting picking six who made the cut, while riding Matt Kuchar to almost a win.
This week we travel to Memphis and TPC Southwind for the FedEx St. Jude Classic. It has to be assumed that the proceeds of the contest go to St. Jude's hospital, although as we know St. Jude is the Patron Saint of Lost Causes, I would guess Jude was probably a golfer.
Don't forget you can play against me and cut your chops playing $3 DraftKings Weekly Hybrid PGA.
By the way, don't forget to check out our deal with DraftKings where you get a lot of good baseball stuff from us along with some from DraftKings. Hit the link below for details.
Dustin Johnson ($12,800): He's the favorite, he's hot, but he is expensive. Still 11 cuts made of 11 is beyond good and the hot hand just seems ready to score.
Charles Howell ($9400): 17 out of 20 making the cut, with an average score of 69.8 on the tour, blowing a wad on Johnson meant spreading the risk from the middle on down to compensate. This is good risk mitigation.
Tom Hoge ($7900): 10 for 17 making the cut, and a 70.8 average, still under par.
Michael Thompson ($7000): Thompson is 10 for 15 making the cut, but like Hoge has a 70.8 average.
Justin Hicks ($6500): Probably the wildest of my cards, with just four of 11 cuts made, but Hicks finished tied for seventh his last tour through Southwind in 2013.
Sung Kang ($6200): Kang is 11 of 18 making the cut, and has played strong of late, posting a 70.7 average.
