Great news! Free access to Mastersball’s daily MLB DFS projections for all five major sites has been extended through the end of April.
Accessible from our front page at noon each day and updated before first-pitch, let’s put them to use at RealTime Fantasy Sports, specifically the Mastersball Daily 50-50 GPP contest with $135 in prizes available for just a $5 entry fee. Do not delay joining, as the Mastersball contests are again very popular in 2016.
At Arizona, lefty Jaime Garcia looks like a bargain at $6900. The St. Louis starter is projected for 13 points, sixth-most among Monday starters, with a price that is just 12th-highest. Garcia has five wins in five career starts vs. the Snakes with a 2.51 ERA.
Do you believe the Drew Pomeranz ($5600) experience can continue another night? Among all Monday starters, the Padre has the second-highest scoring average this season at 15.6, with only Noah Syndergaard ($9500) higher. Pomeranz draws the Giants on the road, but I am willing to ride along as he is our projected seventh-best starter at 12.9 points. With these savings, I can load up on hitters.
On offense, the Rockies against Pittsburgh’s Jeff Locke are appealing, but I will go in a different direction for my hitter of the day. Texas’ Rougned Odor ($4900) is our third-ranked second baseman for the evening, projected 23rd overall among hitters at 3.98 points. The left-handed hitter and his Rangers teammates take on Yankees righty Nathan Eovaldi at home. Over his career, Eovaldi has allowed 100 more points of OPS against lefty hitters, while Odor’s power comes against right-handers.
