An interesting day/night Saturday slate on DraftKings with six early games and nine evening games.
The afternoon slate is light on pitching with Masahiro Tanaka ($10,400) and J.A. Happ ($7,400) leading the way. Miguel Cabrera ($3,600) is almost a must-play at that price with his great stats against Corey Kluber. All Cabrera has done in 35 at-bats is hit .571 with five home runs and ten RBI.
The pitching choices at night are a little better. Jose Fernandex ($11,500) is clearly the best, but he is very expensive and faces a Giants team that does not strike out a lot. Steven Matz ($8,700) has one dud and one stud so far. He gets a weak-hitting Braves team (but we have said that before). Juan Nicasio ($5,400) sees a big price drop, making him an attractive option. Mike Trout ($5,000) might not seem like an obvious choice against King Felix until you look at the numbers. In 65 at-bats, Trout is hitting .354 with four home runs and 13 RBI.
