Last night the St. Louis Blues and Tampa Bay Lightning took a commanding 3-1 lead. Up 3-0, the Washington Capitals are ready to put the struggling Flyers out of their misery. After going 5-for-9 on the power play last time, the Caps probably packed brooms along with their hockey sticks. There are four games on tonight’s docket, let’s see what’s intriguing.
John Tavares - N.Y. Islanders ($7900): JT’s across the board production is worth the high price. He leads the Islanders in shots (16), points (6), and ice time averaging over 21 minutes per game. He dishes out the hits (7) and leads the team in power play points this series.
Reilly Smith – Florida ($5400): The Islanders are so concerned with Florida’s top line that their second line is punishing them, led by Smith. He has four goals and four assists to lead the club in scoring. Smith along with line mates Nick Bjugstad ($5100) and Jussi Jokinen ($5600) double as the power play unit and are averaging more ice time than the first line.
Marcus Johansson – Washington ($4300): With a goal, four assists and plus +5, Johansson is averaging a surprising five DFS point per game against the Flyers. He’s earned a spot on the Caps top power play unit, an upside not often found at this price point.
