Saturday 16th Dec 2017

My apologies for posting relatively late today, but I believe the wait will be worthwhile. This is the first day of our one-week free access to Mastersball’s daily MLB DFS projections for all five major sites.

They will be free through Sunday, April 24, then exclusively for our Platinum subscribers after that. Look for them to be posted by noon ET then adjusted frequently as lineups are announced. For additional details, check the announcement area at the upper left-hand area of our home page.

As always, I will be ready this evening to take you on from my regular spot at RealTime Fantasy Sports - the Mastersball Daily 50-50 GPP contest with $135 in prizes available for just a $5 entry fee. Do not delay joining, as the Mastersball contests are again very popular in 2016.

To celebrate our new daily projections, I sourced my Monday roster from them.

For the pitchers, I passed on the most expensive pair, Noah Syndergaard and Jose Fernandez, for the third and fourth-best projected starters in Hector Santiago and Carlos Rodon. My two cost $4900 less but are expected to deliver just 3.7 fewer points than the more expensive pair.

The projections like the Colorado hitters at Cincinnati against fill-in starter Dan Straily. With regular catcher Nick Hundley out with a concussion, Dustin Garneau is a nice bargain play at $2200. I added his teammate Gerardo Parra ($4700) among my outfield trio.

Overall, I chose six hitters in Mastersball’s top 15 for Monday. My 10 players are projected to score 54.8 points, with obvious upside.

Compete against the Mastersball staff at RealTime Fantasy Sports here. I can be followed on Twitter @b_walton.
