The Saturday DraftKings slate has an even seven game day and seven game night slate. The White Sox – Rays 6:10 start is not included in either contest.
The early slate includes several stud pitchers including David Price ($10,500), Jake Arrieta ($10,300), and King Felix ($10,000). Arrieta’s match-up is the best on the board. Matt Harvey ($8,700) is the wild card. His price is very depressed based on his two less-than-stellar starts where he struck out only five total. Two interesting hitters that might not be obvious are Mark Teixeira ($3,800) and Jose Baustista ($4,000). Teixeira has hit six home runs off of King Felix in 69 career at bats. Bautista has hit five home runs in 49 career at bats against David Price.
The evening slate is highlighted by Max Scherzer ($13,100). I am going to balance my pitching with Marlins Tom Koehler ($6,400). The Koehler play is strictly based on the opponent (Braves). Loading up on hitters in the Orioles-Rangers games looks like the play given their high projected run total of 9. DraftKings has awarded SS eligibility to Manny Machado ($4,800) based on his one game played there. He becomes the best SS on the board. Rangers rookie Nomar Mazara ($3,300) continues to rake with a low price.
