OK, so remember, we are learning here together. Not that I don't know how to play golf, or fantasy games. But, understanding the game of golf, the players, and the courses is going to take me a season or so.

So, I do recommend the DraftKings $3 Hybrid games, where finishing among the top third among thousands and thousands, can still get your investment back, allowing you to play, understand, and learn without risking much.

Remember to check out our deal with Draftkings where you get a lot of good baseball stuff along with some from Draftkings. Hit the link below for details.

In picking players this week, I once again looked primarily at ability to make the cut, something that destroyed me at Pebble Beach. But, the real learning was one of my picks was Bubba Watson. I do love Bubba, but he is a big hitter and in a smaller course where a strong shorter game is the thing, he turned out to be a bad selection.

Similarly, picking the sleepers is generally what wins. I did well with Phil Mickelson last week, so here is where I went for the Northern Trust tourney this week in Riviera, California.

Justin Rose ($10,800): Tied for sixth at 12 under at Pebble, Rose is hot, so here is where I will put my biggest bucks.

Bill Haas ($9200): Five-for-six making the cut on the tour thus far, earning an average of 86.1 points per tourney, Haas tied for eighth in Carmel, and shot 70 once, and everything else under par last weekend.

Fredrik Jacobson ($7900): A tough Sunday, but still finished 14 under at Pebble and seven of eight cuts made thus far.

Danny Lee ($7800): Rickey Fowler's mate did quite well in Phoenix two weekends ago and has made the cut six of seven tourneys.

Charles Howell III ($7600): Choked at the end in Phoenix (sigh, I can relate) two weeks ago, but still is nine-for-nine when he plays this year.

Roberto Castro ($6700): Was ten under at Pebble, and has made it through the end seven of eight times.
