When I got back from the Fantasy Sports Trade Association conference in Dallas last week, I walked from the Southwest Terminal to where Diane and our dog Pavlov were awaiting my return. As I left the secure area, there was a HUGE (capital letters for emphasis) booth that was set up offering Super Bowl 50 paraphernalia.

There was the standard stuff--hats, footballs, t-shirts--but this stand was expansive, and I suspect there was a hamster wheel with the Super Bowl logo on it as well as Dr. Scholl's inserts, likely claiming to be the official foot smell absorbant of the whole affair.

Apparently, over one million folks are sojourning to the bay area for the game to attend, rubberneck, tailgate, support the production, and so on. In fact, it is enough of an invasion for us to postpone plans to go into the city to shop or eat for a few weeks till the fun is over.

So, pre-game, we will indeed update the injury report for the big game, and as pitchers and catchers report in a few weeks, we are tracking those injuries, as well as adding NBA, and shortly, NHL and PGA updates to give at least a weekly overview of who might be sitting in the DFS (and regular fantasy) world.

Mind you, Roto-Bituaries is a work in progress, so we are more than open to suggestion as to what you might like to see. We do understand the bulk of DFS players get updates via Twitter, but not everyone is that into the social media. So, filling that gap is the goal.
