I guess there is little point in my hiding how satisfied I was with the Raiders performance over the weekend. In fact, I got to watch the great game against the Steelers atop another TV screen that was showing the Panthers and the Packers with my mates following the BaseballHQ First Pitch Arizona.

It was a tough loss, but, well, I am indeed heartened at how feisty and good the Oaklanders have been, not to mention my faith in Derek Carr as a future star might just be on track.

Of course, the game was great, but how can I possibly not note the incredible game Antonio Brown provided? He was just amazing, and clearly, Pittsburgh would have been in trouble without him.

Unfortunately, Brown is gone in season-long leagues. But just as surely, Brown is the kind of DFS pick to build upon no matter who is calling signals. In fact, Brown's prowess just confirms what solid support he will be to Landry Jones this coming week.

With Malcolm Floyd walking off the Monday Night game in sweats, next week is obviously a question mark. So, for sure Steve Johnson (seven catches, 68 yards), who stepped into Floyd's slot role, is a guy to grab, but also keep your eyes Dontrelle Inman (three catches for 28 yards) and Javontee Herndon, who made his first catch of the season.

On the other side of the ball, Jeremy Langford (18 carries, 72 yards, a score and a two-pointer) did a fine job covering for Matt Forte. The Bears are off next week, and Forte is still the man. But Langford makes a nice play in a season-long format as he will surely get more looks just to help take the load off Forte as the season progresses.

Three Tight Ends did some good stuff this week, starting with Delanie Walker, who knocked out seven catches for 95 yards and a pair of scores, albeit against the weak New Orleans defense.

Tyler Eifert did even better with three scores against the Browns, growing his season total to nine, believe it or not. Clearly, Eifert makes for a good play this coming week facing Houston.

But, the sleeper I think is the Raiders' Clive Walford, a guy to watch. A third-round pick out of Miami, Walford has scored twice in the last three weeks, and his role is clearly increasing. As Derek Carr becomes that much more seasoned, it will be fun to watch the relationship develop.

Finally, LeGarrette Blount showed his stuff at the right time, with 129 yards and a TD Sunday. With Dion Lewis out for the year, the incumbent RB is a solid pick in your season-long league, and he could even make a cheap DFS play.
