The good news for Week 8 is that daylight savings time gave us all a respite after Halloween craziness, but the bad news is even with the hour's grace, the Lions and Chiefs are already going at it in London. So, let's have at it.

Ben Roethlisberger is back this week, and the Steelers are at full strength, playing at home against the undefeated division rival Bengals. This will indeed be a dogfight (see plays).

Marcus Mariota (knee) and Leonard Hankerson (hamstring) are both out.

Tyrod Taylor (knee), Karlos Williams (concussion) and Sammy Watkins (ankle) are all out for Buffalo.

Josh McCown (shoulder and ribs), Isaiah Crowell (ribs) and Johnny Manziel (elbow) are all probable.

Dez Bryant (foot) is scheduled to play, but Joseph Randle (back/attitude) is out.

Cecil Shorts (hamstring) is out and J.J. Watt (back) is questionable, meaning so is the Houston defense.

For the Jets, Eric Decker (knee) is questionable with Chris Ivory (hamstring) probable while the Chargers Antonio Gates (knee) is lised as questionable but reports have him as active and Melvin Gordon (ankle) probable.

The Niners Carlos Hyde (foot) is out while Anquan Boldin (hamstring) is questionable.

Toast for now: DeSean Jackson, Jamaal Charles, Jordy Nelson, Victor Cruz and Tony Romo are all still out.

Melvin Gordon is iffy for the Chargers, making the multi-faceted Danny Woodhead a must.

Rookie Tyler Lockett has had an increasing role in the Seahawks offense, and he makes a great cheap wideout play.

Chris Johnson and Darren McFadden also make interesting Running Back plays.

Finally, I am taking the Steelers defense today, despite the magic Andy Dalton and the Bengals have made thus far. I am guessing the Bengals winning streak stops today, as the Pittsburgh defense digs in against their serious rivals and holds the points down.

Joba Chamberlain refused his minor league assignment. It is a tough game, no matter how strong one's skill set.

Again, remember you can play against us at the Mastersball 50-team 50/50 Challenge and you can follow me @lawrmichaels.
