Andrew Luck (shoulder) participated in a full practice Thursday and is excpected to play against the Patriots.

Steve Smith (back) is scheduled to start for the Ravens.

Buffalo has its injury issues. Tyrod Taylor (knee) will sit at least to start. LeSean McCoy (hamstring) is probable as is Sammy Watkins (calf), though Karlos Williams (concussion) is still out.

Alshon Jeffery will play as will Martellus Bennett (quad).

Dez Bryant (leg) and Tony Romo (shoulder) are still out, as is Ben Roethlisberger, and of course Jamaal Charles (knee) is gone for the year.

Eric Ebron (knee) is still out, as is Cecil Shorts (shoulder).

Marshawn Lynch (hamstring) is expected to play. He is known as the beast for a reason, and always has injury questions it seems, yet he still seems to come through.

Matt Jones (toe) is questionable for the Redskins and Marvin Jones (foot) is probable for the Bengals.

Isaiah Crowell (toe) is probable and Demaryius Thomas (neck) is questionable.

EJ Manuel is getting the start over Tyrod Taylor (who does have a funky knee). The Bengals are a tough matchup, but this could be Manuel's last chance to show his value. Not saying he is a play, but he is interesting.

Chris Ivory is facing the Skins defense in New York, where it is cold and rainy. Washington is allowing around 98 yards a game rushing, but I think Ivory will pick up that much by himself.

Blake Bortles has had increasingly solid weeks, and against a porous Houston defense in what might be a big scoring game between two teams who seem to be able to score but not able to defend.

Theo Riddick bagged 10 receptions last week, and he now has 30 catches. He doesn't carry, but he makes for a nice potential cheap flex play against the Bears. At home where the Lions are due to explode and against their erratic division rivals is as good a time as there is.

Adrian Peterson facing the Chiefs and Carlos Hyde going against the Ravens could prove to be fun picks.

Billy Joe Royal, singer of the 60's hit "Down in the Boondocks" passed away.
