I swear, I am still trying to get into a groove, and I have sworn off the Raiders this week, going instead with Alex Smith ($6300), who is calling signals at home, against the Bears.
For the season, both teams boast 1-3 marks, but the Chiefs losses have come at the hands of the Packers, Broncos, and Bengals--all undefeated--and Smith has still averaged 249 yards a week with four touchdowns. And, while the Chiefs and Bears have each allowed 125 points, the Chiefs have outscored Chicago by 32 points.
Playing at home, with Travis Kelce and Jamaal Charles and Jeremy Maclin, I am trusting Smth's ball handling skills against a poor team on the road, hoping to rack up at least some completions and yardage with a score or two being a cherry on top.
As for defense, I am going in a similar vein, taking the Giants ($2100) at home, facing the beyond confusing Niners. Again, simply looking at the scoring differential, New York has assembled 102 points while allowing 82 as opposed to San Francisco, who has scored just 48 points thus far and leads the galaxy in turnovers.
Again, remember you can play against us at the Mastersball 50/50 Challenge and you can follow me @lawrmichaels.
