FScore-160x320We have a nine-game slate on Monday with a very narrow pitching selection for the Mastersball 50/50 Challenge. Seems like every team used their ace on Sunday, leaving little for Monday (just like last week).

Lance Lynn ($8300) is the best, and most expensive pitcher on the board. Considerations for second pitcher include Anibal Sanchez ($5600), Edinson Volquez ($5800) and Chris Heston ($6900). I like Sanchez best of that bunch with eight straight double-digit scoring games.

With the cheap pitching, you can load up on hitters. Paul Goldschmidt ($6500) faces off against Nelson Cruz ($6100), but both the D-backs and Mariners are throwing lefties at them. The only downside is the game is in Seattle and not Arizona. I expect Chris Young ($3000) to be in the Yankees lineup against the Rangers' lefty starter. The downside on Young is that the Yankees pinch hit for him later in the game against right-handed pitching.

Don't forget that you can indeed match up against the Mastersballers at FantasyScore and you can follow me @mastersballmarc.

Fading Lynn, as the Reds have very good bVp numbers against him. Avoiding the Red Sox due to weather.

c - posey
1b - fielder
2b - odor
3b - arodriguez
ss - simmons
