Here's hoping you had success yesterday at the Mastersball 50/50 Challenge. I have to confess that my day, puncutated by a great gig by Michael Pineda, was going swimmingly, and that similarly, I was distracted and did not see that two of my players--Jason Castro and Eduardo Escobar--were not starting. The gooseggs those two holes created cost me dearly (as in I finished one slot out of the money, by less than a point), so do indeed check your starting lineups vigilantly.
And, today is another day, with weather issues potentially in Kansas City and Atlanta only.
While yesterday I went a little off-the-path in choosing Pineda, today it is Chris Sale ($9700) all the way, augmented by a somewhat resurgent Marco Estrada ($6300) facing a somewhat struggling Tigers team.
In fact, in the wake of that, I am going with some Jays who have had big success against Justin Verlander, who is still trying to work into some kind of groove. Russell Martin ($5100), Jose Bautista ($5500), Jose Reyes ($4500), and especially Justin Smoak ($3500) have all knocked Verlander around a lot over the past five years, so today the gambit is stack city.
Don't forget that you can indeed match up against the Mastersballers at FantasyScore.
