Three high-end pitchers take the mound on Monday in Clayton Kershaw ($9400), Felix Hernandez ($9000) and Michael Pineda ($8300). With only seven games on the slate, I do not see enough hitting to support a strategy of going for a lower end pitcher when playing the Mastersball 50/50 Challenge.

Pineda appears to have the best match-up against the low-scoring Phillies. Kershaw is on the road against a Cubs team that can score but also strikes out in bunches. King Felix has the advantage of pitching at home, but he has to go against the pesky Royals hitters.

While I would typically attack White Sox lefty John Danks, the Twins offer little offense to feel comfortable with. Drew Hutchison has been awful away from Toronto, putting the Rays hitters in play. I am looking at Joey Butler ($3500) and Logan Forsythe ($4300).

Don't forget you can play against the other Mastersballers and me at Fantasy Score.

Weather is iffy in Chicago, and if it's played it looks like the wind will be blowing out, so no Kershaw.

Danks has mostly been hittable, and the Twins have a decent RH lineup.

Would have liked to play Reyes and Gardner, but salary not there with the pricy P's and Trout.
