Happy Sunday as we wrap up Week 6 with some fun potential contests while playing the Mastersball 50/50 Challenge.
Before we start, again do note that every game East of Kansas City seems to have potential weather impacts, be they rain (most venues) or wind, which seems to be in the forecast at Kauffman Stadium.
Since pitching is indeed the core to success, and strikeouts are as noted the key, Shelby Miller ($6000) against the Fish, and A.J. Burnett ($6200) make a fun tandem going against younger teams that like to swing the bat. In particular, Burnett should be able to both get some velocity while pitching as the crafty veteran to the fun but still a bit raw young Cubbies.
On the field, I am looking at a couple of hot hitters this week, starting with Lorenzo Cain ($4100) against Chris Capuano (making his first start of the year) and the Buccos Josh Harrison ($3400) against Jake Arrieta.
Harrison is hitting a blistering .524-2-4 with a steal and six runs over his past five games, while Cain is at .301-0-6 with four runs over his last four.
As usual, you can take me on (now is a good time, as I am in a dry spell) at FantasyScore and claim the appropriate bragging rights.
