With just three games left to play before the LCG, the Salt River Rafters (AZ, CWS, COL, TOR, WAS) are the heavy favorites to win the East Division with a two and a half game lead over the Scottsdale Scorpions. But the West Division may go down to the last game as the Peoria Javelinas (CIN, MIN, PHL, SD, SEA) have just a half game lead over the Surprise Saguaros (TEX, KC, BOS, NYM, STL). Peoria lost Monday to the Phoenix Desert Dogs while Surprise beat Scottsdale to tighten the standings. Here are the two divisions before Tuesday’s games:
The Surprise team will be @ Mesa on Tuesday and @ Phoenix on Wednesday, before ending the regular season at home on Thursday against Salt River. Peoria will host Phoenix on Tuesday and travel to Salt River on Wednesday before ending their regular season by hosting Scottsdale on Thursday. A reminder that the AFL Championship game will be shown live on the MLB Network on Saturday afternoon from Scottsdale Stadium.
