Well, I guess the Fantasy Football season is pretty much over, and to show for it I have a fourth place, third place, first place, and it seems second place finish.

In the case of "it seems a second place finish," we will know on Thursday for sure when Elias and the fantastic league tracker, MyFantasyLeague, synch up final numbers.

Now, the league in question is the Kathy League Gifford, where as previously noted we play two quarterbacks, three individual defensive players, and most important, use the "play all" format, meaning each week each team racks up a won/loss of 11 games, with the high scoring team raking in an 11-0 mark, while the low scorer finishes 0-11.

So, to show how tight things are after 187 games, they look like this:

As you can see, the Won/Loss totals are close enough, but notice how tight the "points for" totals, both as an aggregate of the games, and as an average the numbers are.

Now, though I like my teams having nice performances in my other three formats, this one is clearly the most equitable, and the most fun.

By the way, Tackle Me Elmo belongs to Eugene Still, Gary's Team to Gary Jennison, and Fat, Drunk, and Stupid to Todd Zola. I am guessing you can figure the owner of Lawrceny all by yourself.

So, true to form, the Raiders did indeed fold under pressure, though for a brief moment, when Oakland caught up to 31-26, with about 6 minutes to go, we had a game on our hands.

Then, in some beautiful illustration of karma Richard Goodman, who earlier pulled a 105 yard return on a kickoff, fumbled a ball on the half-yard line, pinning the Chargers deep, and offering a serious chance for the Raiders, fresh of a solid drive, to keep the momentum and knock back the San Diegans.

Not to happen, though, as the Raiders join the Eagles, Cowboys, and Jets as wannabe's in the 2011 post-season title hunt.

Personally, I am looking at a Ravens/Saints Super Bowl, with the Pack and Pats coming up short.

And, we will stay here on track watching through Super Bowl Sunday.

Congrats to all you winners out there. It was indeed a fun season.
